The crate palletizing station is based on the use of four Cartesian robots equipped with adaptive grippers for crates and a set of roller conveyors for feeding crates and pallets. The vision system reads which crate has been introduced into the system and decides to transport them to the appropriate field. The automatic pallet supply magazine and the pneumatic actuator of the gripper allow for precise and fast placement of crates on pallets. The entire station is designed with the aim of increasing the efficiency and automation of the palletizing process, which translates into time and cost savings for the manufacturer.
